Super 8 by Wyndham Newport News/Jefferson Ave.

This hotel is within walking distance of a grocery store and a shopping center. All of receptionist are professional and helpful. When my family and I have stayed here Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Patel are usually there to greet us. Also we appreciate the housekeeping staff who makes sure we have what is needed.

The room was nice, clean and big. I had the room with a king size bed, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable, however the water pressure for the shower was not as strong as I would have preferred. Surrounded by restaurants and gas stations. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed for 2 nights The receptionist was very nice and assisted me with no issues. The room was clean but the bathroom shower wall wasn't very clean. It still had dried hair stuck to the walls and I had to clean the bathroom again myself. Overall it was a quiet peaceful stay. 1 out of 5 I would give it 4 it's not the best but it's not the worst either.

I live in Texas.I drove all the way up here for a job twelve hours after I arrived, the superintendent was fired. I spent $400 to get here and now I have to spend $400 to go back home. I had to check out of the hotel at 2 PM. The managers and staff gave me a break. They let me check out with all my money and the previous day. lt was very helpful. I will always come back to this super 8. , the staff was nice and courteous clean rooms and I was pleasantly surprised with the high water pressure.. Five stars all the way around

Good clean room, staff was cordial, sufficient linen & towels. I appreciate that the carpet had been removed in favor of laminate flooring. The only downsize to my visit; I was placed on the 1st floor across the hall from housekeeping. Getting jarred from your sleep at 7am with housekeeping yelling down the hall to each other was terrible and unprofessional. Other than this, the visit was okay.

This is my third time coming over here is just because of the great hospitality and affordable price. Mona always gives me affordable prices which makes me to come here only. The elite breakfast is good and healthy. The good smell, clean rooms makes me feel like home and peace of mind. Henceforth this is best the motel at Newport New. Thanks Mona

Used my Wyndham points. Seemed like a lot of points for 2 nights. I may not have stayed otherwise. Front desk staff was very nice. For some reason I thought there was a small breakfast item. Was just coffee in lobby. Juice machine was not on. Bed was creaky but comfortable. Sheets and towels a bit scratchy. Was quiet until 5 am when I heard footsteps in room above. Room was clean.

Great stay while at this hotel. Great service, great customer service, and definitely in a great location. I have no complaints at this point. I wouldn't mind working for Mr. Patel either. He runs a smooth work establishment and makes sure his business is running well. If there's a problem, trust and believe he will fix it.
